Sandro is a guy from Rome, who has high hopes for his future: he wants to be a writer. He decides to leave Italy as many of his friends did and to follow Luciano (a guy he has just met) to Cuba. The beauty and the violence of the island lead Luciano to lose his way, whilst Sandro realizes the reason why he has followed his friend so far. He will be the protagonist of his novel.
